Glassware Chart -- Glossary of Glasses

Find out what types of glasses are used in mixing your favorite cocktails.

The types of glasses used for cocktails and other drinks is often chosen for a reason other than they look good or cool with that drink.

For instance, martini glasses are meant to be held by the stem so that you don't warm up the drink. Champagne and sparkling wines should be served in a Champagne Flute in order to preserve the bubbles.

Choosing the correct glass for your drink is all a part of the magic, presentation and preserving the flavor of a great drink.
