Egg Nog Recipe (version 1)
- 1 oz Brandy or Rum (Dark Rum or Gold Rum is best if you're using Rum)
- 5 oz Plain Egg Nog (the store bought kind in the carton)
- Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes and shake well. Strain into a Highball glass, sprinkle with nutmeg and serve with a straw.
Note: I like this version for it's simplicity; of course if you don't have a cocktail shaker, simply pouring will sufice.
Extra Spicy Egg Nog Recipe
- 1 oz of Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold Rum (in some countries it's Captain Morgan Spiced Gold)
- 5 oz Plain Egg Nog (the store bought kind in the carton)
- Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes and shake well. Strain into a Highball glass, sprinkle with nutmeg and serve with a straw.
Note: This is probably my most favourite version of Egg Nogs -- Spice-a-licious!
Egg Nog Recipe (version 3 from scratch)
- 1 oz Brandy or Rum (Dark Rum or Gold Rum is best if you're using Rum)
- 4 oz Milk
- 1 Egg
- 1 TSP of Sugar
- 1/2 TSP of Nutmeg
- Blend the ingredients in a blender
- Pour the Egg Nog into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes and shake well. Strain into a Highball glass, sprinkle with nutmeg and serve with a straw.
Note: Naturally, if you like your Egg Nog extra spicy you can use Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold Rum instead of Brandy or Dark Rum.
