Horses Neck Cocktail

  • 1 1/2 oz Brandy
  • 5-6 oz Ginger Ale
  • Dash of Angostura Bitter
  • Pour the brandy and ginger ale directly into a highball glass with ice cubes. Add a dash or two of Angostura Bitter. Stir gently. Garnish with the rind of one lemon spiral, letting it hang out over the glass rim.

Drink Notes: 1. This cocktail is sometimes known as a Horses Neck With a Kick. 2. I've had this cocktail in a couple of variations; Whiskey or Gin being the substitute. 3. The mocktail version is here.
